My Sunday weigh in

So what did the scales tell me this week?

I weighed in this morning to find my weight has stayed the same, not moved at all! Talking of not moving, I think that has been my main problem this week, too much time sat still and not enough walking. I've only managed 10 miles of walking this week and I like to do at least 20, so I think that's why my weight has stayed the same... ....Well that and all the naughty things that somehow jumped into my mouth. I mean it's not really my fault if a bar of chocolate falls out the fridge and lands in my mouth, is it?

So with still 28lbs of fat to lose before I turn 40, I'm really going to have to try harder. Next week I'm going to be on a vegan diet  so it'll be interesting to see if this helps with my weight loss at all.

My diet buddies
I  hope my diet buddies have also had a good week, please check in and wish them well.
And Alison who is posting a comment on my blog each week.
If any other bloggers would like to join in our weekly weigh in, just give us a shout.

  1. Staying the same is still progress! Sounds like you know what you've got to do. You're a braver woman than me though, going Vegan - I think dairy is the last thing I could ever go without!

    1. I'm hoping that it will help my asthma, I've been waking in the night with bad attacks. I think dairy products make it worse too.
Really going to miss the cheese and chocolate though. x

    1. Thanks Alison, yes I am finding the vegan diet very hard, all I can think about is milk chocolate today. But I'm hoping that by not eating dairy, my asthma will improve.

  4. Well done on staying the same weight this week at least it isn't a gain! I was just reading your blog post about the Jenny Craig competition and think your question is really good. I used to drink buckets of coke a day before the diet and have switched to the tesco diet fizzy orange so it would be really interesting to find out. So sorry to hear your Asthma is giving you trouble it sounds awful and I hope you are feeling better with it soon. Your vegan diet sound interesting I see you mention you are missing dairy. I had a leaflet through the door the other day from Tesco they have got a new range out called Free From Dairy it says its suitable for vegan/vegetarians.

Weigh day this week for me was good. Last week I made a mistake I didn't put on 2.2lbs I put on 1.8lbs. This week I lost exactly 1.8lbs so I'm back to where I was 2 weeks ago now.

Good luck for next week. xx

Thanks for the info about tesco dairy free, I hadn't heard about it, so I'll be having a look next time I go shopping.
