When I read that Jenny Craig website and blog, are giving away £400 contribution towards a new bike and other lovely prizes, with such a fantastic prize on offer I knew I had to join in. Now all I had to do was come up with a question that I'd like their weight management experts to answer for me.
As readers of my blog know, I'm currently trying to lose 40lbs before I turn 40 so I have loads of questions. The hardest part was just coming up with one, so here is my question.
Do diet fizzy drinks make you put on weight?
I've heard so much about diet drinks, that I'm really not sure if I should be drinking them. I always thought by choosing a sugar free drink instead of one full of sugar I was making the better choice. I mean I do of course know that water is best for you, but sometimes a diet drink makes a nice change. And to me has always been a guilt free way of having something sweet, on a hot summers day I love relaxing with a diet coke. But now I'm not sure if I should be drinking them at all.
Please can you help Jenny Craig, are diet fizzy drinks ok to drink when you want to lose weight or do they make you put on weight?
